Forklift Training and OSHA Certification
Get your operators trained and evaluated the right way—fast, practical, and OSHA-compliant. We serve Greater Orlando and Central Florida with classroom and hands-on evaluations, plus clear employer documentation.
Why AAA Forklifts for Training
We teach practical, job-specific safety: pre-shift inspections, load handling, stability, site hazards, and real-world operating practice. We schedule around your shifts, evaluate on your truck classes, and give you clean documentation for audits and insurance.
Flexible Delivery
On-site training across Orlando and the I-4 corridor minimizes downtime and lets us address your unique aisles, racking, docks, and pedestrian flows.
Real Equipment, Real Scenarios
We train on the equipment your team actually runs—counterbalance, reach, order picker, or powered pallet jack—so the evaluation reflects real tasks.
Clear Records
You receive training and evaluation documentation with operator name, date, evaluator, equipment class, and result to support OSHA compliance.
OSHA Guidelines and Training Format
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 requires employers to ensure each powered industrial truck operator is trained and evaluated before operating, and re-evaluated at least every three years or sooner after an incident, unsafe operation, or assignment to a different truck type. Operators must be 18+ for non-agricultural use, and training must include knowledge and performance components.
Classroom / Theory
Stability triangle, load centers, capacity, center-of-gravity shifts, ramps, dock practices, battery/LPG safety, pedestrian awareness, and daily inspections. Ends with a short knowledge check.
Practical / Skills
Safe start-up, visibility checks, controlled travel, precise stacking/unstacking, secure load handling, horn use, and hazard recognition on a site-tailored course.
Evaluation and Documentation
Each participant is observed and evaluated on the specific truck class(es). Results and evaluator details are recorded and provided for your records.
Note: OSHA does not issue a “license.” The employer certifies the operator after training and evaluation.
Certification, Renewal, and New-Hire Options
New operators get foundational instruction plus supervised practice before evaluation. Recertifications streamline theory and focus on performance. Incident-based refreshers target root causes and reinforce the right behaviors.
Orlando and Central Florida Scheduling
We cover Orlando, Winter Park, Sanford, Apopka, Kissimmee, and the I-4 corridor toward Tampa. Schedule during normal shifts, split large teams into morning/afternoon groups, and certify each role on the correct truck class.
